Hunky Cubano to Perform in New Haven

Cuban-American singer-songwriter Jon Secada will perform at the International Festival of Arts & Ideas in New Haven this summer. His career spans more than three decades, and he has won three Grammy Awards, sold 20 million albums, and starred in roles on Broadway.

Several of his romantic songs have become hits in English and Spanish. He will perform live on the New Haven Green with his band to share music from his pop catalog, including megahits Angel and Just Another Day.

The free concert will be at the Alexander Clark Stage at the New Haven Green. The date is June 22, 2023, and the start time will be 7:00 PM.

Updat: Secada told News 8 he is working on a new album with songs featuring Nat King Cole, which will be out next year in English and Spanish.
