Image

The Connecticut Department of Aging and Disability Services recently received $10 Million from the Federal American Rescue Plan Act. Ninety percent of the money will go to municipalities to use for:

  • Expanding staff hours
  • Facility improvements
  • Programming

Municipalities must develop a plan and submit it with an application to the Connecticut Department of Aging and Disability Services Unit on Aging for approval. The application deadline is the end of June 2024, and more information is here.
