Some Yale University students will be able to attend a class taught by former U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona this school year. Cardona, a native of Meriden, Connecticut, will serve as a faculty fellow at the Yale School of Management for the 2025-26 academic year, where he will co-teach an elective course.
Cardona earned a doctorate in education from the University of Connecticut. In March 2021, Cardona was confirmed as Secretary of Education and continued in that role throughout the Biden administration.
