Yale University recently announced that it will make tuition free for newly admitted students whose families earn less than $200,000 a year, starting in the 2027-2028 academic year. The new policy will eliminate costs for families with typical assets and annual incomes below $100,000 while also ensuring that families with typical assets and annual incomes below $200,000 receive need-based scholarships.
The program covers tuition, room, and board for those who are fully eligible. More information is here.
