This annual fundraising initiative led by the Connecticut Rivers Council (Scouting America) aims to ensure that financial limitations do not prevent local youth from attending summer camp. The program provides camperships (similar to scholarships) directly to in-council Scouts, enabling them to participate in outdoor education and skill-building activities.
The fundraising relies on direct donations, and recent campaigns have raised more than $30,000 to successfully cover supplies, meals, and attendance fees for local Scouts. Read more here.
