The 13th Annual Juneteenth Jamboree on the New Haven Green will take place on Friday, June 19, 2026. This free, outdoor community celebration commemorates the end of slavery with an extraordinary lineup of historical tributes, live music, and cultural performances.
There will be a Commemorative Walk around the Green at 4:00 PM, before the main show, to honor Lucy and Lois Tritton, a mother and daughter who were the last enslaved people sold at auction on the Green in 1825. Wear red, a Juneteenth color, to show solidarity. More information is here.
