Where Can Hamden Teens Hang Out for Free?

The Hamden Public Library Teen Center is located on the second floor of the Miller Memorial Library at 2901 Dixwell Avenue. It is open Monday through Friday from 2:45 PM to 5:00 PM for local youth in grades 7–12. 

The Center offers a safe environment for socializing or working collaboratively. The offerings include:

• Technology: Computers and dedicated charging stations.
• Entertainment: Video games, tabletop games, and card games.
• Materials: Books, manga, graphic novels, and coloring supplies.

Teens do not need a library card to hang out or participate in programs at the Teen Center. For questions, contact the Teen Librarian at 203-230-3770.
