The Data Storytelling Leadership Residency is a partnership program between the Nellie Mae Education Foundation and the Manhattan Neighborhood Network (MNN). It is a six-month hybrid residency, and the winners are:

Maine
- Kristin Kinchla, research and Kids Count associate at Maine Children's Alliance
- Brean F Witmer, director of research and strategy at Great Schools Partnership
Massachusetts
- Kaitlyn Chantry, chief communications officer at Education Resource Strategies
- Jennifer Herring, executive director at Worcester Education Collaborative
New Hampshire
- Louis Esposito, executive director at ABLE NH and NH Coalition
- Nicole Heimarck, executive director at Reaching Higher NH
- Debbie Roy, director of communications at NH Businesses for Social Responsibility
Rhode Island
- Cindy Miranda, communications coordinator at Coalition for a Multilingual Rhode Island
- Divya Nair, senior policy analyst for children and families at Economic Progress Institute
Residents work with MNN mentors and creative agency partners. By the end of the project this fall, the Data Storytelling Leadership Residency will have produced and platformed 12 completed storytelling projects.
