Connecticut IB Academy is an Award-Winning Public Interdistrict Magnet School

The Connecticut International Baccalaureate Academy (CIBA) in East Hartford is ranked the top public high school in Connecticut by U.S. News & World Report. It is an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering both a Middle School program (grades 9–10) and a High School program (grades 11–12). 

CIBA shares a campus with East Hartford High School and has close ties to it, allowing students to collaborate and participate in shared projects. CIBA’s theme is global citizenship, international-mindedness, and rigorous inquiry-based learning.
