Glenwood Hot Springs Is Soaking in History

Image

The world's largest hot springs pool is the historic Grand Pool at the Glenwood Hot Springs Resort in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The pool opened on July 4, 1888, and is almost two city blocks long.

The geothermal Yampah Spring feeds it, providing natural mountain water enriched with 15 therapeutic minerals. The Sopris Splash Zone for kids features an open-air whitewater river tube ride.

This pool is open year-round, and general admission is available through Day Pool Passes (via a hand stamp). Ticket prices range from $38- $60 for adults and children.
