Free CT. Public Transit Bus Fare Extension

On November 28, 2022, the Connecticut General Assembly voted to extend free bus fares in Connecticut through March 31, 2023. It is a temporary measure.

The New Haven Board of Alders and the Hartford City Council have called for permanently free bus fares. It will benefit many people by lessening the number of cars on the road and reducing emissions.
