The custodian at Wintergreen School encountered a trespasser in the building at about 5:00 AM on January 31, 2023 and asked him to leave. The intruder responded by assaulting the custodian, causing facial injuries, and stealing his wallet, keys, and car.
The custodian went to the hospital for medical treatment. Hamden Detectives are investigating the case.
