Code Orange = Unhealthy Air Quality

Code Orange means the Air Quality Index (AQI) is between 101 and 150. This range is considered unhealthy for sensitive groups, such as people with heart disease, asthma, lung disease, children, and senior citizens.

Almost half of US states will experience the impact of the smoke moving down from the Canadian wildfires. A haze reached from southern states like Alabama and Georgia to New England and into the Great Lakes on Monday.
