Egyptian officials said plans call for freeing 10 Israeli hostages and 30 Palestinian prisoners Tuesday and again Wednesday this week. Almost 60 women and children hostages gained freedom since Friday, along with several women and teen Palestinians from Israeli prisons.
The humanitarian pause has also allowed a significant surge in additional humanitarian assistance to the innocent civilians suffering across the Gaza strip.
