All Hamden students will now be eligible for free lunch.

Hamden school officials recently said the district will give free lunches to everyone for the rest of this academic year. The start date will be March 18.

Approximately 5,200 students will become eligible. The goal is to ensure that all students have an opportunity to eat while in school, regardless of their family income.
