Archive of Memory Exhibition and Forum

Explore the spiritual, developmental, and political legacy of New Haven’s historic churches (United Church on the Green, Center Church on the Green, Trinity Episcopal Church on the Green, Dixwell Avenue Congregational UCC, First and Summerfield UMC) at a community forum on Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 2–3:30 pm at the FSUMC (425 College St.). This forum will be followed by a pre-launch visit to the Archive of Memory Exhibition at the Ely Center of Contemporary Art (51 Trumbull St.). This event brings together voices from local church elders to reflect on how church architecture, worship, and ministry have shaped identity and social change across generations.
