Cristina Rodríguez Selected as Next Dean of Yale Law School

Professor Cristina M. Rodríguez has been selected as the next dean of Yale Law School, a historic appointment as she is the first Latina to lead the institution. She will officially assume the role on February 1, 2026. 

Rodríguez is a leading scholar in constitutional law, administrative governance, and immigration law. She currently serves as the deputy dean of the Law School.
