A Murder Mystery on Mix Avenue

The Hamden Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred in the area of 500 Mix Avenue on January 17, 2026. The findings suggest that the victim went there by car to meet an unknown individual. 

Three suspects approached the vehicle, one entered and shot the victim, while the others fired additional shots. All three suspects fled the scene on foot. Detectives are following multiple leads and have stated there is no known ongoing threat to the public.
