Substitute Teacher Charged with Assault

A former substitute teacher at Shepherd Glen Elementary School in Hamden was arrested last Friday in the sexual assault of a student, officials said. Hamden police charged Jack Gill with two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault and two counts of illegal sexual contact, according to online court records.
