An ARCY mural contributes to the beautification of Hamden.

Internationally recognized, Connecticut-based muralist ARCY (Ryan Christenson) has created a major public mural in Hamden, CT. titled Land of the Long Water. It pays tribute to the Quinnipiac People, the enduring connection to the land, and the local community.

The massive work of art is at Dixwell Avenue and Skiff Street, one of Hamden's busiest intersections. Its official unveiling and dedication will be on June 26, 2026.
