Water’s Soul stands on a newly redeveloped historic Hudson River waterfront pier.

Water’s Soul is a spectacular 80-foot-tall public sculpture by the famed Spanish artist Jaume Plensa, located on the Ellipse Pier in Jersey City, New Jersey. This enormous 33-ton white fiberglass work of art depicts a serene face of a young woman with her finger pressed to her lips. 

The sculpture’s placement on the Hudson River waterfront adds to its significance as a unifying element between New Jersey and New York. Water’s Soul has become a beloved landmark in the area and a must-see for visitors to Jersey City.
