The New Haven Union Station is undergoing a $24.8 million state-funded renovation.

The renovation highlights are:

• Main Atrium & Central Bar: A new central café and bar area on the ground floor.
• Mezzanine Level: A spiral staircase will lead to a new mezzanine bar and expanded seating.
• Retail & Dining: Retail and food service spaces expanding from 5 to 13 vendors.
• Amenities: Renovated restrooms, new family restrooms, a wellness room, new flooring, LED lighting, and updated ceiling tiles.
• Timeline: Exterior repairs ($9.1 million) and Phase I interior work will conclude by late 2027, with Phase II interior renovations finishing in 2028.
