The Community Soup Kitchen is open every Wednesday evening.

The Town of Hamden and the Community Soup Kitchen have collaborated since March 2021 to support residents experiencing food insecurity. They assist the Farmers Market at the Keefe Community Center, which houses the Soup Kitchen and distributes produce and groceries.

These distribution efforts adhere to the DASH Diet guidelines - DASH stands for Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension. More information about Hamden’s efforts to alleviate hunger is here.
