The Hamden Police Department is sponsoring a Citizens Police Academy. The evening classes will provide information related to the function and activities of the Department. Their goals are to increase police and public awareness and to build community relations.
They will cover topics such as:
- Computer and Internet Crimes
- Crime Prevention
- Cultural Awareness/Hate Bias
- Major Crimes/Fraud Investigations
- Use of Force
Hamden residents, business owners, and college students age 18 and older are eligible to apply. The application deadline is September 12, 2022; More information is here.
