The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System provides forensic services, investigative support, and technology to help resolve missing person and unidentified remains cases. It is a national information clearinghouse and resource center.

The National Institute of Justice finances and administers NamUs. All resources are free to law enforcement, medical examiners, coroners, allied forensic professionals, and families of missing persons. Visit their website here.
