4 Connecticut Swimming Spots Close

According to the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, swim areas at Stratton Brook State Park in Simsbury, Wharton Brook State Park in Wallingford, Lake Waramaug State Park in Kent, and Quaddick State Park in Thompson closed on Saturday morning. DEEP collects water samples weekly for certain bacteria and found that the water quality at these sites was unsafe for swimming.
