The Park received a high rating because of its acres of dunes, clean beach, and woodlands. Visitors can stroll along the boardwalk and explore the shoreline.
In addition, they can walk across a sandbar that leads to Charles Island, home to a bird rookery. To get to Silver Sands State Park from I-95, take exit 35.
