Connecticut Police Departments Donate Vests to Ukraine

The New Haven, Hamden, and Hartford Police Departments have collaborated to collect bullet-proof vests to send to Ukraine. This body armor will offer a layer of protection amid the ravages of war.

Members of the three Departments stood united on Friday, March 18, 2022, to share that they collected close to 150 vests to ship as soon as possible. According to former Police Inspector Stephen Cappola, his contact person in Ukraine reached out and asked him for assistance.
