The Hotel Marcel Will Open on Long Wharf in Spring 2022

The 165-room Hotel Marcel at Long Wharf in New Haven will open soon. The former Pirelli Tire Building, designed, developed, and repurposed by architect Bruce Redman Becker, will use 100 percent solar electricity.

This net-zero energy hotel will tap into the tourist and business visitor markets of New Haven and surrounding towns. The light gray building offers views of New Haven Harbor and the city's skyline.

It is the first hotel in the United States to achieve Passive House and LEED Platinum certification. Read more about Hotel Marcel here.
