I-95 closed in both directions in Norwalk, Connecticut after petroleum tanker fire.

Both sides of Interstate 95 in Norwalk have been closed for hours after a tractor-trailer, a fuel truck and another vehicle collided early this morning and some of them caught fire. Governor Lamont  said the highway could be closed for "a significant amount of time" and he is asking people to avoid driving in the area.

Update: Interstate 95 fully reopened to traffic in Norwalk on Sunday, May 5, 2024, in the morning, less than 80 hours after the fiery tanker crash.
