More than 700 mayors around the world have spoken out against antisemitism. The American Jewish Committee and the U.S. Conference of Mayors have declared that antisemitism is incompatible with democratic values.
Twenty-five mayors are meeting at the 2022 Mayors Summit Against Antisemitism this week in Athens, Greece. Contact mayors@ajc.org for more information on the initiative.
Update; The Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff will host an antisemitism roundtable at the White House on Wednesday, December 7, 2022. Ambassador Deborah Lipstadt and Susan Rice, director of the Domestic Policy Council, will be in attendance.
